Having spent the last ten years photographing mainly portraits in the studio, I decided it’s time to get back to wedding photography on a regular basis. This is Leila and Erik’s recent wedding. It was an early start with some shots at the house before Erik came to pick Leila up (Erik’s Dutch and they do things a wee bit different there, the groom coming to pick the bride up). It was then off to Hill of Tarvit for the ceremony and a lot of images of the ceremony taking place and some candid shots in the grounds. Good fun. We also used the interior of the house to good effect. The reception was at Rufflets where we got plenty of shots in the gardens then inside for the speeches. After dinner a magician had been arranged to mix with the crowd which was fun, then we got some final shots of the dances.
